Motivator and inspirational speaker, Julie Falatico, is a multifaceted personality, with a diverse background to match.  She is a successful businesswoman, professional singer/band leader, creator and author of The Movie of Your Life® transformational workshops and self-help book, as well as, both spiritual teacher and student.

Born and raised in Central New York, Julie left her home in Utica as a young adult, to assist her father in opening a restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona. Once the restaurant was up and running, Julie’s interest in acting, led her to study at the famed Lee Strasberg Institute in Hollywood, California, under the tutelage of Hedy Sontag.  Encouraged by Hedy and mentored by late comedian and husband, Stanley Myron Handelman, Julie wrote and performed stand up comedy routines in Los Angeles. She assisted SMH as co-proprietor of the LA based “Comedy Asylum,” which served as a comedy school and forum for stand-up comics and writers to develop and perform their material.

Julie’s life-journey eventually took her to Massachusetts and then onto Ohio, where she began a twenty-year career in sales, becoming a top producer at the companies she worked for. Her highly honed skills won her promotions and countless awards making her indispensable to her employers and customers alike. Upon returning to CNY, Julie made history for a Rochester based company called Goldwell New York, during which time she revived an economically depressed territory thought dead by company management, taking sales to record breaking revenues on par with much larger, metropolitan markets. Hans Neumaier, owner and founder, of the Rochester distributorship, lauds Julie as a consummate example of what one person can create and produce, in spite of economic challenges of the day.

Additionally, Julie turned a lifelong dream of becoming a professional singer, into reality. She sings in small jazz combos and traditional Big Band Orchestras. Her repertoire is largely from the Great American Songbook and her group, The Julie Falatico Band, recently released their first CD, titled, “Julie Falatico - Taking a Chance On Love,” which was nominated for the Syracuse, New York, 2009 SAMMY Award.

A good deal of Julie’s life was spent as a single mother of two sons, Daniel and Michael. Like many, she struggled with serious, personal issues and adversity. Through prayer, introspection, and, self-study, as well as application of spiritual wisdom, Julie grew and triumphed personally and professionally. She overcame her personal challenges using the very methods she teaches and writes about in The Movie of Your Life®. Julie finds great passion and fulfillment in helping others overcome their challenges; guiding them through the process of discovering and utilizing their gifts and abilities, so they can experience their highest potential as productive and fulfilled human beings.

Julie is a Graduate of Life, with Honors in Achieving Her Goals…and her mission in life, is to help others do the same.
